Lam probe scarred my face?

I had lam probe done on my face eight weeks ago. I now have scarring, layers of skin missing (pock like marks) on the areas that were treated. The woman who did the procedure says this is normal and will fade, I find this hard to believe at this point. Has anyone had this done, is this normal? Is there anything I can do? Should I seek legal advice. I signed a consent form, does it cover ruining my face? I look worse now that before treatment!!
