The economy in SA is now at the point lower than the the production possibility curve. Since people get sick, they, including all in the family, cannot go back to work efficiently. The cure is very expensive, and most of them have to be imported. The shortage of foreign currency is intensified. In the long run, the shortage of labor force will occur, and cause the production possibility cure to shift to the origin. That will be the main cause of poverty and hunger.
