We know that pianos are very heavy & difficult to transport even in these modern times?

so how did people during the time of mozart or beethoven transport those heavy pianos whereinfact there were no trucks back then? did they tranport it the way the egyptians transport the pyramid stones? antigravity? how did they transport pianos in the old days then?
