Why do people think women are stupid for sleeping with a guy like Russell brand?

I was just talking to my sister and she said that no smart women would sleep with a guy like russell brand and that he is disrespectful to women. Does anyone one else think this and why? I never thought of him to be any of those things, i mean sure he is promiscuous but so is my sister, so thats a little hypocritical of her, But anyway just curious about what you think?
