Help me with my breakfast? 10 points!?
It is hard to answer this without the nutritional information directly in front of us but here is the information to go to help. First off it is best to limit your options to either the bran flakes or Kashi as they are less processed then the cheerios & will retain more of their nutritional value. That being said, I would recommend the all bran bran flakes. You have to check your specific cereals calorie count as ultimately that will decide how many calories you will have to burn to lose weight. However, comparing the kashi with the all bran bran flakes that I have there is only a calorie difference of about 30 calories. However, there is a WHOPPING 5 grams of fiber in the bran flakes which constitutes about 20% of your daily value! Fiber is extremely important to weight loss because it will help control hunger and fight off munchies. Fiber will help you to stay full longer because it takes longer to digest (Good), cleans out your colon, & binds to toxins/cholesterol/fat etc before it can be absorbed by the system. Oatmeal does this as well because of the fiber in it. By switching to the bran flakes, you will receive the same benefits as the oatmeal with the taste change!
