What oppression? An incredibly high standard of living and limitless opportunities for personal growth? This is the best time and place to live for any person of any race in history. But no one has the right to live on another person's dollar without their consent. Help the poor if that's how you want to use your own property, but don't use government force to dictate how everyone else is to use theirs. Socialism is the oppression and always has been.
